Out of Hours
Enhanced Access - Evening and Weekend Appointments
The Well Street Surgery operate an enhanced access service in evenings and weekends.
Tuesday Evening Clinic
- Every Tuesday from 6:30pm to 8pm
If you wish to book a routine telephone call with a GP on a Tuesday evening or if you need to see our Healthcare Assistant during these times, please contact reception and ask about our Tuesday evening clinic.
Friday Evening Clinic
- Friday before the first Saturday of the month from 6:30pm to 8pm
We will have a telephone-only clinic available for pre-booked appointments. The practice doors will not be open for the Friday evening telephone clinic.
Saturday Clinic
- First Saturday of the Month from 9am to 5pm
We will be open on the First Saturday of each month for pre-booked appointments only.
Life Threatening
Call 999 or go to A&E now if:
- you or someone you know needs immediate help
- you have seriously harmed yourself – for example, by taking a drug overdose
A mental health emergency should be taken as seriously as a medical emergency.
Urgent But Not Life Threatening
Visit an urgent care centre if:
- You have an urgent medical issue requiring on the day attention
Non-urgent - NHS 111
Use NHS 111 if:
- You need help now, but it’s not an emergency
There will be someone to provide you with advice and to direct you to a clinician if it is necessary.
